Merry Happy

Hello!

So this weekend has been the nicest I've had for ages, I wasn't working and was free to spend my days hanging out with my two best pals in the sunshine. On Friday we decided to get dressed up, put on the heels and head out to consume lots of wine, which of course was a success.

Megan and I stayed at Laura's lovely new flat and the fun continued on Saturday, Meg abandoned us but Laura and I went to Kensington Gardens and lazed around in the sun and ate lots of strawberries and then I went to see my friend Sarah's exhibition which is currently on show at the OXO tower - very proud of her!

Then, to top it all off, Andy Murray went and won Wimbledon! Such an amazing match that had me on the end of my seat and crying! So proud, I have been watching him play for years and was quite in love with him at one point (oh dear.)

My dress was an absolute bargain from Primark!

You can't really see the outfit in these pictures but I wore my new orange cami which I LOVE, which Topshop tailored trousers, Urban Outfitters flatforms and a Topshop necklace.

I also went to Dalston House this week, if you haven't been definitely check it out - you get to roll around on the floor under a big old mirror and pretend you are hanging off the roof of a house - endless fun.

Also, shameless plug, but it would be LOVELY if you followed the Twenty6 blog, http://twenty6magazine.tumblr.com/, this is the magazine I work for and I write the blog content, follow us on Twitter too :)

Beside The Green, Green Grass.

Hello!

This weekend I went to Kent, where I used to live, and it was hot and sunny (for once) so we got to laze about in my Nanna's amazing garden and go on a nice country stroll. I love living in London but I do think I am quite a country girl at heart so it was nice to actually go and see some trees and fields after seeing nothing but stinking old tubes and grey buildings!

Roped my brother into posing for a few photographs for me! He is wearing a vintage shirt, with Topman shorts and Clark's shoes (from ASOS) Bertie is wearing his fur, with furry paws.

LCM

Hello!
So this week I was lucky enough to get to go to LCM to review all the shows for work and we managed to blag our way onto the front row for most of them, which was so good, practically felt like I was sitting on the catwalk.

My favourite shows were probably Sibling, Mr Porter, Richard James and Savile Row, which was held at Lord's Cricket Ground - the rooms were all open and models just stood around looking amazing, wearing amazing clothes next to a free bar - it was incredible! I absolutely love men's fashion (cough and male models cough) so I was in my element! We were also celebrity spotting all day and nearly had a heart attack when David Gandy and Oliver Cheshire sat next to us, Oliver is so so pretty.

I am having major post-LCM blues now as it was such a fun few days, you can read all of my reviews here: http://twenty6magazine.tumblr.com/

I was going to try and take a photo of my outfits on each of the days but only managed one rubbish photo so that was a massive fail! I was told girls didn't really dress up for LCM so went casual the first day and everyone was SO dressed up so after that I went all out, I'll be sure to show you what else I wore soon :)

I don't like walking around this old and empty house, so hold my hand, I'll walk with you, my dear.

Hello!

Haven't posted in a while as I have been busy busy busy. Moved out of our house in Southampton for good and have officially settled back into London life!

Here's a few snaps of what I've been up to...

Last housemate photo at the top here, although we are smiling happily in this photo, we were obviously all crying on the inside. Very sad to not be living in a house with these gals anymore and not having constant singing around the place! Myself and my giant stack of books are quite happy to be back in London though now and no longer paying for bills or our own food haa!

Went to Soho flea market and bumped into Caggie and Proudlock from Made In Chelsea!

It was my 23rd birthday on the 31st May, had such a lovely day! Also discovered some really good charity shops and cute antique stalls in Angel.

This is probably my favourite photograph in the world. Anyone who knows me knows how much I absolutely LOVE Douglas Booth. When asked 'if you could meet anyone in the world, who would it be?' My answer is always always Douglas, so when I spotted him wandering around Covent Garden with a friend shopping I almost fainted, had to get a photo or I knew I'd regret it and he was so lovely and charming. Still smiling now thinking about it!
Today I went to Highgate Cemetery as, after reading Her Fearful Symmetry, I developed a fascination with the place and I wasn't disappointed! It was really eery and beautiful, lots of graves of famous people which I found really interesting being the huge geek that I am!

This Is Your Racing Heart, Can You Feel It.

Hello!

This week marked my last few days at University and yesterday I left Number 95 and Southampton and moved back to London!

While I am excited to be back home, I feel so so sad that my days of being a student are officially over - no more lectures, quoting Shakespeare with Claire, nights out with £1 drinks, sailing team drama, arguing with the football team, singing at the top of my lungs with Charlotte, drunken heart to hearts with Carla... Basically it has been the best three years of my life and I wouldn't change anything! I am, however, looking forward to the next chapter and am starting an exciting Internship next week which will hopefully help me forget about post-uni blues! Plus, tomorrow is my 23rd birthday and I still get excited about birthdays even if it does mean I am getting very very old.

Last week I went to Portsmouth with Charlotte for one last road trip and we went for lunch in the sun and had a wander around, didn't take as many photos as we usually do (being very snap happy gals) but here are a few favourites.

Daisy, Daisy, Give Me Your Answer, Do.

Hello!

This week has been the emotional time of my life, University has come to an end, IT'S ALL OVER. My last exam was on Monday and since then it has been celebration after celebration! On Monday I had an English Class end of year party which was so fun, and made me feel very sad as I said goodbye to everyone! Followed by my last ever shift at work and a night out with my work pals on Tuesday, then Wednesday was the last Oceana and night out with my best friend Carla and Thursday was my birthday party/our end of year house party which was a very messy but very amazing evening!

Today Charlotte and I went to The Common for one last stroll (I know, I am making it sound as though we are dying - in some ways I feel we are.) It was so warm and sunny, so at least Southampton is being kind to us on our last weekend!

"I Was The Last Thing On Your Mind, I Know You Better Than You Think."

Hello!

Today Charlotte and I went to Winchester for a stroll in the sun, we love that place, it's always a nice escape from Southampton which is grey and cold and in every park there is a tramp that slurs beautiful compliments or asks for bus fare and then swears at you when you don't give them any, ah I will miss this place.

Anyway we went for an ice cream and it sure was nice. We also sat in the park and listened to some 14 year old emo kids conversation and relived our youth. Danni - if you are out there we know you cheated on your boyfriend mate.

This week was also a VERY special occasion as Charlotte went on her first Uni night out in a year. A YEAR. Being someone who likes a good night out on the raz on a weekly basis I find this hard to comprehend but Charlotte is a granny and she wants to be with her sewing machine so she will not be forced into a club. However, she loves a bit of Oceana and the night was a success so I shall meet you back there in a year Char.

I have an exam on Monday which I still haven't revised for as I am quite frankly bored to tears with the whole thing, it will be a HUGE day though as it is my last ever hurrah as a Uni student so I might cry as I write about The Stepford Wives and Fight Club.

Anyway, new pictures from Winchester and a few snaps of our night out thrown in for good measure!
