Daisy, Daisy, Give Me Your Answer, Do.

Hello!

This week has been the emotional time of my life, University has come to an end, IT'S ALL OVER. My last exam was on Monday and since then it has been celebration after celebration! On Monday I had an English Class end of year party which was so fun, and made me feel very sad as I said goodbye to everyone! Followed by my last ever shift at work and a night out with my work pals on Tuesday, then Wednesday was the last Oceana and night out with my best friend Carla and Thursday was my birthday party/our end of year house party which was a very messy but very amazing evening!

Today Charlotte and I went to The Common for one last stroll (I know, I am making it sound as though we are dying - in some ways I feel we are.) It was so warm and sunny, so at least Southampton is being kind to us on our last weekend!

Our party was 90s themed, I love dressing up and actually quite enjoyed everyone's outfits, can we all start dressing like this in real life please?
Some end of Uni shenanigans snaps!

"I Was The Last Thing On Your Mind, I Know You Better Than You Think."

Hello!

Today Charlotte and I went to Winchester for a stroll in the sun, we love that place, it's always a nice escape from Southampton which is grey and cold and in every park there is a tramp that slurs beautiful compliments or asks for bus fare and then swears at you when you don't give them any, ah I will miss this place.

Anyway we went for an ice cream and it sure was nice. We also sat in the park and listened to some 14 year old emo kids conversation and relived our youth. Danni - if you are out there we know you cheated on your boyfriend mate.

This week was also a VERY special occasion as Charlotte went on her first Uni night out in a year. A YEAR. Being someone who likes a good night out on the raz on a weekly basis I find this hard to comprehend but Charlotte is a granny and she wants to be with her sewing machine so she will not be forced into a club. However, she loves a bit of Oceana and the night was a success so I shall meet you back there in a year Char.

I have an exam on Monday which I still haven't revised for as I am quite frankly bored to tears with the whole thing, it will be a HUGE day though as it is my last ever hurrah as a Uni student so I might cry as I write about The Stepford Wives and Fight Club.

Anyway, new pictures from Winchester and a few snaps of our night out thrown in for good measure!

Rain, Rain, Go Away.

Oh hiiiii,

Sorry to my poor neglected blog, I haven't uploaded in forever and a day because I have been busy finishing the huge chapter of my life that is University, with one more exam left the end is definitely in sight now and I am feeling ever so sad about that fact - don't want to be out in the real world quite yet thanks.

Anyway, this week my housemate Charlotte and I wanted to celebrate our freedom by doing fun things but the weather has decided we aren't allowed to do that so I have mainly been hiding under ten blankets watching Game of Thrones. At least Jon Snow is brightening up these bleak days.

This is the first outfit post in forever and it isn't good because it was cold and we were just chilling in a carpark, like ya do. We have planned lots of nice adventures to go on in the next few days so hopefully I can get a few lovely posts in before I leave Southampton for good.

Roses Are Pink, Sky Is Blue

Hello!

I have not blogged in forever and a day, the weather has been horrid and my dissertation is STILL not handed in so I have been a cold busy bee. Thankfully, the sun has finally decided to come out so my housemate Charlotte and I thought it was about time we updated the old blogs.

I got my hair done this morning and it's so nice and blondeeeee, put me in a great sunny mood! Even though the sun is shining, it is still a little bit chilly so I did think the people walking around in vests, shorts and flip flops were a little bit crazy, hopefully in a few weeks time it will be warm enough to get my legs out! I have forgotten what bare legs feel like.

I bought these dungarees for an interview I had in London (and I got the job, yay! I believe I have this outfit to thanks, obviously) and I actually got them from the generation 915 section in New Look, I couldn't find any nice ones that fit ANYWHERE and I saw these cheeky teen ones and had to snap them up! Age 13 managed to fit perfectly, and they were a bargain at £13.99, although I do feel embarrassed about buying children's clothes (don't tell anyone.) I also got these new shoes and they are probably my favourite things ever, oh how I love to buy new things!

Sometimes It Snows In April

Hello!

This time last year I'm pretty sure I was spending my days in shorts and dresses, I have forgotten what having bare legs and not wearing a coat feels like! Even the weather man was apologizing for the forecast on the news this week, April is looking pretty bleak.

Even though it is freezing cold and snowy in London there is still plenty of fun to be had (in twelve layers) so this week my friend Fran and I decided to have a nice cultured day out - we started off at the V&A, which is probably my favourite museum in London, but I was really sad as when we tried to get into the amazing library a huge bouncer threw us out claiming you weren't allowed bags in there?! I suppose people try to steal the books and Fran and I obviously looked like criminals.

We went for lunch and ate our own weight in food before heading to The Old Operating Theatre. Now, I've already posted about this place before and I absolutely love it. Think my obsession with old medicine stems from GCSE History where I met my best friend Megan and we would spend our days making up songs about historical figures, anyway this love has stayed with me so The Old Operating Theatre is like heaven to my inner history geek.

I think Fran was a bit scared of all the medical paraphernalia and it made her quite grateful for the NHS so after looking at rusty amputation tools I took her to Patisserie Lila in Borough Market to recover with a giant slab of red velvet cake.

I hope you are all coping in this bitter April weather, let's all hope summer is just around the corner!

Snowy Sundays

Hello!

This is my last weekend in Southampton before I go home to London for Easter, so my housemate Charlotte and I decided we must spend our last Sunday together for a while updating the old blogs!

It's absolutely freezing here at the moment, so rather than braving the great outdoors we decided to use my bedroom as a backdrop instead - any chance to give my bunting some limelight, I ruddy love that stuff.

You can see Charlotte's blog here.

I am using Mac lipstick in Diva, best lipstick EVER.

My overflowing books - safe to say that only about 10% of these are Uni related.

I had been looking for a vintage Chiltern bag for absolutely ages, and I found this treasure on Ebay and managed to get it for £1.50 - actually could not believe my luck!

Top - H&M
Skirt and Belt - Topshop
Hat - Urban Outfitters

So - that's my room! I made all of the bunting myself, bedding is all from Next/Ikea, my fairylights are from John Lewis and Laura Ashley aaaand the frames are from all over. I am so sad that Polaroid film is so stupidly expensive now, if it was as cheap as it used to be I think my walls would be even more covered!
