Daisy, Daisy, Give Me Your Answer, Do.

Hello!

This week has been the emotional time of my life, University has come to an end, IT'S ALL OVER. My last exam was on Monday and since then it has been celebration after celebration! On Monday I had an English Class end of year party which was so fun, and made me feel very sad as I said goodbye to everyone! Followed by my last ever shift at work and a night out with my work pals on Tuesday, then Wednesday was the last Oceana and night out with my best friend Carla and Thursday was my birthday party/our end of year house party which was a very messy but very amazing evening!

Today Charlotte and I went to The Common for one last stroll (I know, I am making it sound as though we are dying - in some ways I feel we are.) It was so warm and sunny, so at least Southampton is being kind to us on our last weekend!

Our party was 90s themed, I love dressing up and actually quite enjoyed everyone's outfits, can we all start dressing like this in real life please?
Some end of Uni shenanigans snaps!

Roses Are Pink, Sky Is Blue

Hello!

I have not blogged in forever and a day, the weather has been horrid and my dissertation is STILL not handed in so I have been a cold busy bee. Thankfully, the sun has finally decided to come out so my housemate Charlotte and I thought it was about time we updated the old blogs.

I got my hair done this morning and it's so nice and blondeeeee, put me in a great sunny mood! Even though the sun is shining, it is still a little bit chilly so I did think the people walking around in vests, shorts and flip flops were a little bit crazy, hopefully in a few weeks time it will be warm enough to get my legs out! I have forgotten what bare legs feel like.

I bought these dungarees for an interview I had in London (and I got the job, yay! I believe I have this outfit to thanks, obviously) and I actually got them from the generation 915 section in New Look, I couldn't find any nice ones that fit ANYWHERE and I saw these cheeky teen ones and had to snap them up! Age 13 managed to fit perfectly, and they were a bargain at £13.99, although I do feel embarrassed about buying children's clothes (don't tell anyone.) I also got these new shoes and they are probably my favourite things ever, oh how I love to buy new things!

Spring Has Sprung

Hello!

I'm back home in London for the Easter holidays and it has been really fun so far despite the freezing cold weather! It's nice to have a break from Uni and all the work I am currently pretending does not exist.

Before I moved to London I lived in Kent and still have family and friends there, so on Easter Sunday we went back for a visit and it was lovely, oh how I've missed fields and trees! Went for a nice country stroll and ate loads of delicious food - perfect Easter.

  Bertie

I spent the day with my best friend Megan last week and we went to Somerset House and wandered around London, whenever we get together we like to eat our own weight in food (we are fatties on the inside) so we had lunch out, both claimed to be absolutely stuffed then two minutes later found ourselves in Snog ordering frozen yoghurt (I had chocolate with hot peanut butter sauce and milk chocolate hearts... Mmmmm.)

These holidays have kinda just been a weeks worth of me eating non stop. I bought my mum some birthday cupcakes from Candy Cakes (best cupcakes EVER), got a huge Easter egg from my dad, which I've nearly polished off, and was also treated to my favourite things in the world - Macaroons - which were the best ones i've ever had, if you are ever in London make sure you go to the On CafĂ© Southbank market stall or their Baker Street patisserie, you won't reget it.

I hope you have all had a lovely Easter and are eating as much as I am! If you can't stuff your face with your own weight in chocolate at Easter, when can you?!

London Calling

Hello!

Sorry it has been such a ridiculously long time since my last post, what with uni and dissertation and lack of inspiration it has been a pretty dreary week!

I am back in London this weekend so am surrounded by nice things to take photographs of. I walked along the Southbank today and went to the Tate and Borough Market (which I am lucky enough to live a two minute walk from.)

My brother trusted me to play around with his Canon and also made an excellent model and photographer himself!
I love being back in London, it's so vibrant and lively and I just want to snap away at everything.
Being back has made me feel really inspired, and my fellow blogger and friend Charlotte (apple-charlotte.com) has also had an inspiring few days so we will be back in full force next week with some photographs of our adventures.

Being at these skate ramps ALWAYS makes me want to fulfil my ambition of learning to skate. How does everyone else look so cool and composed on a board? Someone teach me please.

The thing I love about London is that you never know what to expect when you go for a wander. We found half a boat tucked behind some horrible grey buildings. There is always beauty behind the ugly in this city!

I really enjoyed this random display of umbrellas that was apparently there for no reason whatsoever.
