Beside The Green, Green Grass.

Hello!

This weekend I went to Kent, where I used to live, and it was hot and sunny (for once) so we got to laze about in my Nanna's amazing garden and go on a nice country stroll. I love living in London but I do think I am quite a country girl at heart so it was nice to actually go and see some trees and fields after seeing nothing but stinking old tubes and grey buildings!

Roped my brother into posing for a few photographs for me! He is wearing a vintage shirt, with Topman shorts and Clark's shoes (from ASOS) Bertie is wearing his fur, with furry paws.

I brought you daffodils in a pretty string, but they won't flower like they did last spring.

Hello!

Today I went to see my best friend Laura's house for the first time (she has just moved in with her boyfriend) and it was SO lovely - I definitely have some house envy. We had lots of tea and cake and just had a nice, cosy lazy Sunday kinda day. I am currently working 6 days a week so was definitely in need of a day like this!

I am still having some post-LCM blues and wishing I was at Milan Fashion week instead of cold, windy England. This outfit was really wintery, especially since it is nearly July, can't believe I am still pulling out the knitwear!

This Is Your Racing Heart, Can You Feel It.

Hello!

This week marked my last few days at University and yesterday I left Number 95 and Southampton and moved back to London!

While I am excited to be back home, I feel so so sad that my days of being a student are officially over - no more lectures, quoting Shakespeare with Claire, nights out with £1 drinks, sailing team drama, arguing with the football team, singing at the top of my lungs with Charlotte, drunken heart to hearts with Carla... Basically it has been the best three years of my life and I wouldn't change anything! I am, however, looking forward to the next chapter and am starting an exciting Internship next week which will hopefully help me forget about post-uni blues! Plus, tomorrow is my 23rd birthday and I still get excited about birthdays even if it does mean I am getting very very old.

Last week I went to Portsmouth with Charlotte for one last road trip and we went for lunch in the sun and had a wander around, didn't take as many photos as we usually do (being very snap happy gals) but here are a few favourites.

Daisy, Daisy, Give Me Your Answer, Do.

Hello!

This week has been the emotional time of my life, University has come to an end, IT'S ALL OVER. My last exam was on Monday and since then it has been celebration after celebration! On Monday I had an English Class end of year party which was so fun, and made me feel very sad as I said goodbye to everyone! Followed by my last ever shift at work and a night out with my work pals on Tuesday, then Wednesday was the last Oceana and night out with my best friend Carla and Thursday was my birthday party/our end of year house party which was a very messy but very amazing evening!

Today Charlotte and I went to The Common for one last stroll (I know, I am making it sound as though we are dying - in some ways I feel we are.) It was so warm and sunny, so at least Southampton is being kind to us on our last weekend!

Our party was 90s themed, I love dressing up and actually quite enjoyed everyone's outfits, can we all start dressing like this in real life please?
Some end of Uni shenanigans snaps!

Magazines and Madwomen

Hello!

This week I FINALLY handed in my dissertation, it was a glorious day and my friend Claire and I went out to celebrate afterwards with cocktails at Turtle Bay, which we felt was very well deserved! I do feel a weird sense of loss now that it's all done and dusted, I woke up the next day and it felt like the day after Christmas - that kind of sad, weird feeling of disappointed, though I can't think why I am disappointed I no longer have to write about madwomen.

It has really dawned on me now that I have handed in that big old essay that the end really is near and I feel ever so sad, trying to make the most of it and have as much fun as I can before I head into that scary place we called The Real World. I am currently in the midst of finishing making a magazine with Claire for our magazine journalism project and I am sharing a sneak peak of some of the photographs we have done for it on here, I'll put the full copy up when it is all handed in and then hopefully I'll never have to look at it again as it is quite frankly giving me a headache.

Charlotte and I will be all handed in as of next week so we can get back to what we love doing, going on adventures and doing outfit posts again! Oh how we have missed the good old days of freedom!

A nice classic cheesy 'yay I'm handing in my dissertation!' photo!

These photos were all taken by our amazing photographer Donna Slidel and the models are the gorgeous Sophie and Ross. It was absolutely freezing this day so they were such troopers standing around in shorts and t-shirts all day! These aren't the final copies we are using, it was so hard to choose! Here are some of my favourites from the day...

These photographs were also taken by Donna and the models are Charlotte and Joris who literally look so good together it hurts my eyes...

So excited to get the final magazine all printed and show you the results :)

Black Tie Sailors

Hello!

Last night was my last ever Sport Awards at Uni so my sailing team got all dressed up in black tie and had an amazing time. Obviously I was distraught to find out I did not get sportswoman of the year (I joined the team in first year and I haven't sailed once this year as it is simply too cold for that nonsense, however the socials are great.)

I had my girlfriends over before we went out for chocolate covered strawberries and champagne, we wanted to start the night out civilised even if it didn't end that way. We took a load of photos outside and felt like we were going to year eleven prom or something (I like to think my hair has improved since those days.)

Here are a few photos from the evening!

Roses Are Pink, Sky Is Blue

Hello!

I have not blogged in forever and a day, the weather has been horrid and my dissertation is STILL not handed in so I have been a cold busy bee. Thankfully, the sun has finally decided to come out so my housemate Charlotte and I thought it was about time we updated the old blogs.

I got my hair done this morning and it's so nice and blondeeeee, put me in a great sunny mood! Even though the sun is shining, it is still a little bit chilly so I did think the people walking around in vests, shorts and flip flops were a little bit crazy, hopefully in a few weeks time it will be warm enough to get my legs out! I have forgotten what bare legs feel like.

I bought these dungarees for an interview I had in London (and I got the job, yay! I believe I have this outfit to thanks, obviously) and I actually got them from the generation 915 section in New Look, I couldn't find any nice ones that fit ANYWHERE and I saw these cheeky teen ones and had to snap them up! Age 13 managed to fit perfectly, and they were a bargain at £13.99, although I do feel embarrassed about buying children's clothes (don't tell anyone.) I also got these new shoes and they are probably my favourite things ever, oh how I love to buy new things!
